Pick your own tulips with American Tulip Day 2019 in San Francisco, 2nd of March 2019.

At the second of March it happened again. Americans have got the opportunity to pick their own tulips. They Americans did not fear the rain and lined up fore over 2 hours to pick their own bunch of tulips. This initiative set up together with Anthos, some tulips exporters from the Netherlands and a Californian tulip grower turned out to be a great succes again. Haakman Flowerbulbs BV send Michel to set up this beautiful piece of art.

Official opening of the 24Flowershop & Wall!

Finally it is there! At the NDSM-Warf in Amsterdam-Noord, we opened our own shop with the 24/7 flowerwall! Now it is possible to buy fresh flowers 24 hours a day. 6 February is the official opening of this shop. Come and see!

The 4th Tulip Trade Event again very succesfull

The Tulip Trade event at Haakman Flowerbulbs BV was very succesfull. We really celebrated our 80th anniverary. We have had many visitors form all over the world!

Below some pictures to enjoy afterwards or to taste the vibe for those who couldn’t make it to come over.

We welcome you on the 5th Tulip Trade Eevent next year. Also then we will show a lot of tulips and to be ready for advice. The exact date will be announced later. If you have any questions then we will be available any time. Also you’ll be more than welcome to visit our company.

Time for a celebration!

Monday, 11th of november, Dick becomes 70 and the company 75 years old. We would like to celebrate this with family, friends and business relations from all over the world on the 9th of november 2013 at Haakman Flowerbulbs B.V., Wervershoof.

Tulip Trade Event 2016

The Event is 3 days, from 30 March till 1 April 2016.
The participating companies will all have a showroom with tulips on their own company and show a wide range of available tulip varieties

Tulip Trade Event 2019

Tulip cultivation in the Netherlands is in the spotlights for three days during the Tulip Trade Event! From 20 to 22 March 2019, exporters and breeders in the Netherlands are combining their open days. This makes the Tulip Trade Event an expanding and colourful display case for tulip cultivation. Over three days visitors can see the entire assortment in bloom, hear about which new trends and cultivation methods are becoming popular and catch up with their business relations.

For three years the interest shown by local and foreign visitors has been growing. As the companies are all located in the same area, visitors can get a complete update about the tulip sector in a short time. Are you coming from abroad? Then it is simple to combine a visit to several different companies.

We show more than 250 different varieties. And it’s party time because we celebrates our 80 years anniversary! Our doors are open from 9:00 – 18:00.
